Kendall Katwalk Hike

Continuing our summer of working down the list of "top ten day hikes near Seattle", on Saturday August 1 we hiked Kendall Katwalk, which wound up being our longest hike we've ever done (13 miles) and a somewhat grueling ascent (and descent). The hike is near Snoqualmie Pass, and we got some nice views of some of the ski areas there, as well as Mount Rainier. The trail is a segment of the Pacific Coast Trail, which runs from the Mexican border to the Canadian border. We hiked from the trailhead to a narrow catwalk along the ledge of a mountain.
