Bellevue Warriors in Las Vegas

Jack's baseball team, the Warriors, traveled to Las Vegas over February break to play in the "Red White and Blue" tournament. They played teams from Southern California, Arizona, and Utah, most of whom play year-round. The games were very one-sided, with Jack's team losing all four games by a combined score of 52-6.

Despite that, Jack played very well. He had 6 at bats and got on base in every at bat: 4 BBs, 1 HBP, and 1 single. He scored two of the six runs the Warriors scored all weekend. He also caught a lot of long fly balls in CF.

In their final game, Jack caught five fly balls in CF, and in his final at bat he singled, advanced to second on interference, stole third, and then came home to score on a wild pitch. It was the only run the Warriors scored in the game, leading to this headline on their team site the next morning:
