"The days go slow, but the years go fast"
Joseph's last day of high school was June 10, 2016. He was an Interlake Saint for all four years of high school, after attending five schools previous to that (St. George Preschool, Fairview Elementary for grades K-2, White Oaks Elementary for grades 3-6, Tillicum Middle School for grade 7, Odle Middle School for grade 8).
Senior Prom
He had a quick series of festivities over his final days of high school. On Saturday, he took Irem to the Interlake Prom at the top of the Columbia Center. We hosted six seniors at our house for a pre-party and pictures.

Wasn't it just a couple of years ago that he was in kindergarten? |
Graduation
On Tuesday June 14, Joseph and his class graduated. The ceremony was held at night at the Alaska Airlines Arena (basketball arena on the campus of the University of Washington).

Family Celebration
On Thursday, the five of us went out for a celebratory dinner at the top of the Space Needle. The restaurant, one floor below the observation deck, spins around (relatively slowly, one revolution per 45 minutes). It was a nice sunny and clear night with great views.
